• Responsible for engineering support with respect to fault isolation capability enablement, failure analysis planning and product yield support. This position is to perform low yield analysis (LYA) of Intel outsourced products to external Si foundry advanced technologies and will be responsible for but not limited to:
• Enable Yield Explore (YE) scan and memory diagnostic capabilities for Intel new products to Foundry suppliers.
• Analyze scan and memory diagnostics data for low yield wafer commonality study and select samples for failure analysis (FA).
• Perform circuit and layout analysis based on diagnosis data and provide physical failure analysis (PFA) instruction.
• Collaborate with internal or external foundry FA labs for FA activities and maintain good records.
• Improve fault isolation (FI) and volume diagnosis process by implementing automation on data extraction and record tracking.
• Expected to work with people in different time zones, and cross-functional matrix project teams.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Electronics or electrical engineering.
• Digital/Analog electronic circuits, device physics and semiconductor fabrication basics.
• Proficient oral and written English.
• Be able to deep dive into technical challenges, clear logic thinking and good at problem solving.
• Self-motivated, good communication skills and team spirit.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge background and rich working experience in semiconductor or failure analysis.
• Software background and programming skills, such as, JMP, Perl, Python.
• 5 years of experience in semiconductor industry.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
