The New Mexico Disaggregated Manufacturing Organization (NM DMO) is growing rapidly as it brings Foveros HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) to life under a single organization with all segments of the process co-located at a single campus for the first time. As part of this exciting growth opportunity, the Fab 9 Foveros Die Sort and Wafer Sort organizations are seeking a Sort/Test Process Engineer to join our team as a key contributor to our startup and ramp into HVM.
In this role, you will contribute to startup and ramp into high-volume production for all aspects of your assigned module, including safety, quality, output, cost, and labor productivity. Specific contributions will include but are not limited to:
Partnering with peer engineers and process development/transfer sites to become a technical expert on your aligned Sort/Test equipment and process
Installing and qualifying equipment and processes for successful factory startup and ramp
Collaborating with partner factories worldwide to transfer new processes, maintain copy exactly parameters, share learnings, and drive improvements to processes and equipment
Sustain and continuously improve your area of ownership by proactively identifying and implementing safety and ergonomic improvements, excursion prevention measures, and methods to increase equipment availability and utilization and reduce cost
Qualify and implement new hardware, software, and equipment upgrades
Partnering with the Manufacturing team to mentor and assist technicians with their technical development

Comfortable working in a factory and/or lab environment
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Electrical, Semiconductor, Chemical, or Material Science Engineering or related fields
2+ years experience (M.S. or Ph.D.) or 5+ years of experience (B.S.) in semiconductor fabrication process and/or equipment
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years experience with sort/test processes or semiconductor test equipment such as probers, automatic test equipment (ATE), probe cards, or probe repair/metrology equipment
Familiarity with sort/test process flows and/or relevant hands-on experience in sort/test equipment and processes
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
