Intel is expanding manufacturing operations in New Mexico to deliver Foveros advanced 3D packaging technology to an increasing array of products. New Mexico Intel Fab 9 is looking for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Yield integration engineer to join the Wafer Sort, Die Prep, Die Sort, Wafer Level Assembly high-volume manufacturing (HVM) factory start up team for NPI readiness and implementing yield and quality-output improvement systems for the factory. Successful candidate will define and implement systems needed to ensure smooth startup, ramp, and sustaining of Die prep, Die and Wafer Sort, and Wafer Level Assembly, high volume manufacturing. They will role model collaboration across boundaries with inclusive and result oriented mindset, identify risks, priorities, fixes, and demonstrate progress to key milestones to meet HVM goals.
Responsibilities will include:
Development of yield systems, dashboards to monitor inline defect performance by using data visualization to actionable items for finding root cause for inline defect, quality, and implement fixes to address yield and quality issues.
Develop solutions to problems by utilizing formal education, knowledge of manufacturing process, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.
Independently drive recommendations and implement the Quality and Yield improvement roadmap.
Analyzing data using statistical techniques, formulas, and calculations and perform statistical tests to determine the reliability and soundness of analysis results to support enterprise strategy setting.
Designing, developing, and applying statistical models, simulation to drive strategy and decisions to provide consulting decisions on various complex manufacturing and supply chain problems.
Identifying and Investigate causes for data fluctuations in factory performance, supply chain efficiency, and supply chain network problems.
Describing, interpreting, and summarizing statistical findings and present to management in reports that include executive summaries, charts, tables, and graphs.
Ensuring data integrity by performing rigorous data validation.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Master's degree or PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science or Information Systems or Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Chemistry or Physics or Statistics, Applied Mathematics or any other related discipline.
3+ years of experience Product Yield Analysis and/or Low Yield Analysis, and/or Quality-output methods and methodologies.
3+ years of experience in data visualization and dashboard building, and automated analysis.
3+ years of experience Statistical methods, techniques, formulas, and tests.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in 1 or more of the following:
Leading cross teams debug working groups.
Background in Die Prep, Wafer Level Assembly, Advanced Wafer Prep, Packaging assembly and Test process and understanding of end-to-end material movement flow (Silicon Fab to Customer).
Computing, modeling and simulation skills using R, SAS, SPSS, JMP, JSL
Coding/ Scripting skills in SQL, and Python.
