To achieve our ambitions and deliver multiple launches in Oncology we are strengthening our team by dedicating three new Franchise Heads to lead our teams in lung cancer, ovarian cancer and breast cancer. As Franchise Head for the Nordics you are a key leader in the Oncology Business Unit and will play a pivotal role in building external partnerships and ultimately seeking to transform the lives of patients.
The locations of these positions can be either Sweden, Denmark, Norway, or Finland.
The roles
You are accountable for driving performance, preparing key launches and managing the dedicated brand P/L. This includes developing the long range franchise plan & strategic priorities including appropriate resource planning and assignment of responsibilities within the team.
From your team´s perspective, you are a confident leader able to coach, inspire, and develop your team. This means to support your brand and sales managers in their efforts to innovate and compete effectively in-market by stimulating cohesive cross-functional working both internally and externally.
You will act as one of the key members of the Oncology Leadership Team & contribute to the overall Oncology strategy in the Nordics. This includes shaping the Global/European strategies and results according to Nordic needs, leading the development and implementation of the strategic and tactical plan, as well as the Cross-functional Nordic Franchise Team.
What you will do
Lead the Franchise Team within your brand to ensure strong collaboration across the cross-functional team and alignment to brand strategies and tactical plans
Implement the Global strategy and develop localized Brand plans including launch plan development & management ensuring outstanding execution by Sales team
Analyse market and customer insight together with Business Intelligence Manager to drive innovation and impact across the patient journey
Ensures that strong external relationships within Oncology are built and maintained
Team up with GA&MA Partners to ensure implementation of key policy shaping activities and secure market access to support growth of portfolio
This role will report into VP, Oncology Nordics.
In order to succeed, you have:
We are looking for you who holds a Bachelor´s degree or equivalent in science/medicine, plus marketing qualifications preferred. It is critical for this role to have solid knowledge of the Oncology patient experience from diagnosis throughout their journey. Previous exposure and/or experience in other functional areas of the business such as Sales, Operations, Medical or Market Access are desirable.
Demonstrated strategic approach within Oncology with clear evidence of innovation leading to success
Results oriented with strong experience in sales, ideally sales management
Good understanding of Account Planning and Customer Engagement program and processes
Desire for future senior business leadership roles
Familiar with the Nordic healthcare systems, including pricing and reimbursement
Good knowledge of market ethics rules
Your demonstrated success in launching products into competitive environments will be as important in this role as will be your consistent track record of leading and developing cross-functional teams without formal line management responsibility.
You partner with multidisciplinary functions and therefore must have validated ability in interacting with and influencing regional and global internal stakeholders. This includes excellent communication and presentation skills, proficiency in written and spoken English.
