In the area of CVRM (Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism), our mission is to help protect the lives of up to 130 million people from the often-devastating consequences of cardiovascular, renal and metabolic diseases by 2025.

At AstraZeneca Greece, we are currently looking for a Franchise Lead Cardiovascular to join our AZ team and lead the Marketing and Sales teams of CV in order to continue the success record of Brilique and prepare the organization for the new launch in the Cardiovascular therapeutic area.

Key Roles/ Responsibilities:

  • Lead the CV Marketing and Sales organization
  • Lead CV Brand Team for the portfolio and develop strategies and tactics in collaboration with Brand Teams
  • Ensure optimal resource allocation and consistent Brand Plans implementation cross functionally
  • Ensure sales forecasts are met or exceeded and operational budgets are managed
  • Lead Key customers management and ensure short- and long-term partnership with Key stakeholders
  • Build on the development of Teams’ capabilities through effective talent management recruitment and succession planning
  • Set objectives, coach/mentor, assess skill development of FLSMs to ensure appropriate delivery of sales and portfolio management
  • Represent brand team both internally but also at regional level e.g. during Business Reviews
  • Direct report to the Business Unit Director CVRM

The successful candidate profile should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in scientific or business discipline, MBA preferable
  • At least 5 years of solid experience in Brand Management, with 3+ years in the Cardiovascular area. Experience in Heart Failure is strongly desired
  • Successful track record in launching new products in local market
  • Prior experience in a people manager role will be considered an asset
  • Experience of working within cross-functional business units
  • Strategic mindset, strong analytical, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Effective stakeholder and relationship management experience; able to interact and build trusted relationships with multiple levels within and outside of AZ
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence with or without authority
  • Robust business acumen
  • Fluent in Greek and English language
