Group 10 Management, one of the fastest-growing hospitality companies in the Metro-Detroit market, is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in Sales & Marketing, to join their team as DIRECTOR OF SALES at the Courtyard and Residence Inn by Marriott – Farmington Hills, MI.

Job Details:

The Director of Sales is responsible for conducting outside sales calls, obtaining new business accounts, conducting site tours, networking within the local business community and driving sales. This individual will also be responsible for sales forecasting and maintaining constant communication with the General Manager and operations team to include weekly revenue meetings, action plans, and sales activity logs.

Job Requirements: 
  • Previous experience as a DOS or Sales Manager in the hotel industry required. Preferred experience at an extended stay hotel.
  • Highly motivated and organized individual with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
  • Excellent Computer Skills Required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be an effective salesperson and leader, and able to drive revenue by executing a proactive Sales process.
  • Experience using Hotel Sales Force Automation (Delphi, Goldmine, Sales Force One, etc.) a PLUS!
