The Room Inspector's responsibility is to assist Housekeeping Management maintain the overall cleanliness of the hotel, including guest rooms and public areas. Major responsibilities include inspection of guest rooms after Attendants, to ensure cleanliness, responding to guest needs, ensuring safety and security of rooms, training, and acting at times as a lead Associate.

• Maintains hotel and brand cleanliness standards for both rooms and public areas and inspect them to ensure that standards are met.
• Monitors staff to work within time allotted.
• Train staff in all aspects of housekeeping, including guest service.
• Assist in planning room assignments for Housekeepers.
• Meet or exceed hotel guest satisfaction measures.
• Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service by responding promptly to guest needs with an interest and concern in satisfying every guest.
• Assists Associates with learning and/or improving upon responsibilities.
• Any other tasks/duties as requested by management.

The Company may consider equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience providing the knowledge, skills and abilities cited below.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of progressive experience in the capacity of Room Inspector.
• Experience in a hotel environment (Marriott brand preferred).
• Knowledge of the South Florida market.
• This position requires SOME EVENINGS, WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS and a FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE!
