Sage Hospitality is in search of our new Sales Manager to join our team at the Westin Cleveland. The ideal candidate is someone with strong leadership abilities, outstanding communication and analytical skills, and experience in creating strong partnerships with the community and industry leaders. You will be working within high profile markets in all areas of professional sports, media, medical, financial and other key corporate accounts. Variety is key! The Westin Cleveland is a 484 room hotel is located in the heart of downtown Cleveland, around the corner from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Great Lakes Science Center and Cleveland Convention Center. The Sales Manager is responsible for selling the hotel, developing sales contacts and performing sales activities in assigned markets. Exempt Sales Managers must spend more than 50% of their time outside directly selling. Must be able to engage customers, analyzes their needs, and creates tailored proposals. Negotiates and closes sales while achieving sales targets. Effectively communicates internally and externally through various methods and across all departments.

Vision to read fine print and computer screens, to see colors, to observe rooms in poorly lit conditions. Understand and follow verbal/written instructions. Work on more than one task at a time. Education/Formal Training
Six months minimum in sales, customer service related position or hotel experience preferred.
