Position Description Overview
Cimarron Hospitality is seeking a Sales Manager to join our team. The Sales Manager is an Executive Committee member of the hotel team, and functions as the sales and marketing business leader for the hotel. The Sales Manager provides direction, guidance, support, leadership and training to the property level sales associates. Collaborating with the General Manager, the Sales Manager will articulate and achieve the company’s goals and demonstrate a commitment to these goals through work ethic, integrity, passion, and respect for the hotel, company and its associates
Responsibilities Overview
- Meets and exceeds revenue goals by developing new accounts and relationships.
- Effectively achieving and exceeding RevPAR index goals.
- Actively solicit business via phone, telemarketing, cold calls, warm calls, e-commerce, site visits, etc.
- Ensure systems are established and in place to respond to customer needs within a defined response period. These may include, but are not limited to: telephone inquiries, bids, proposals, confirmation of bookings, thank you letters, follow up letters, etc.
- Manage accounts to achieve collective Cimarron Hospitality guest satisfaction targets.
- Prepare status and period end reports.
The Ideal Candidate
- At least two years in a Sales position (or similar role) at Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, or IHG hotel.
- A strong working knowledge or experience with SMERF and corporate groups.
- Outside sales calls are required. Personal vehicle is required for travel.
