Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop standardized global policies for pricing / invoicing for transportation service line. Gather data and speak to global colleagues regarding current processes. Recommend divisional solution for future global processes
- Develop global pricing models that align with the division pricing strategy and profitability goals
- Create and drive adoption of internal and external transportation estimation models
- Recommend global way to use operating systems to support standardized pricing and global invoicing processes.
- Document global polices and develop global training materials to include business processes and scenarios. Organize and conduct training sessions for site(s) / functions
- Understand transportation market dynamics and price services according to applicable service levels
- Participate in ongoing new projects and initiatives to support the business growth including but not limited to: pricing strategy, profitability, quoting improvements
- Lead a designated work stream on the CTD invoicing project
- Attend and contribute to requirements and design workshops. Review and approve user requirements and solution design documents
- Provide business scenarios for, and assist with, creation of test scripts
- Conduct development and user acceptance testing. Record testing outcomes
- Gather master and legacy data and conduct / lead data migration
- Provide short term hypercare support and long-term super user support and governance
- Drive change management and champion two-way communications between sites(s) / function(s) and project team
- Other Adhoc Duties as Assigned
How will you get here?
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years Finance analysis experience
- MBA or CPA is preferred
- Experience in Logistics or Transportation pricing
- High level analytical capabilities with a record of successful financial modeling experience
- Prepared to travel up to 10% of time
- Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) effectively with senior management
- Proven leadership qualities
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with individuals and teams
- Ability to embrace change, think globally and be inquisitive
- Self-starter with initiative and motivation to accomplish tasks with minimal direction
- Proven record of successful individual and team process improvement actions
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and be flexible
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate global nature of work
- Excellent computer skills, specifically MS Excel; Hyperion / Essbase a plus
- Fluency in English Speaking/Reading/Writing Required
