Internal & External Customers

• Responsible for responding to tenders and RFQs to clinch contracts from regional and global customers.
• Negotiate and maintain competitive FAK rates.
• Understand country's needs and negotiate specific requirements with target carriers e.g. space protection / allocation, free time on demurrage and detention.
• Prepare and provide competitive port to port rates to GRM for global tenders.
• Support ASPA countries on rates and carriers' related issues.
• Monitor and review Weekly lifting.
• Ensure efficient flow of information concerning carriers' activities and market development to management.
• Ad-hoc RRM meeting.

Internal & External Stakeholders

• Develop and maintain relations with global ocean freight carriers with head offices in Asia Pacific.
• Negotiate competitive rates for FAK, named accounts & surcharges.
• Determine pricing for OFR organization in co-operation with M&S.

Process

• Responsible for maintaining the Pricing Guideline.
• Responsible for data extraction.
• Trade lane update for Asia Pacific exports.

Education / Experience

University Degree, Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping industry or freight forwarding.

Good French Speaking, well understanding of French culture.

Good process management skill, solid communication skills.

Competency (Soft Skill)

• Sufficient knowledge of freight forwarding activity within the route.

• Ability to keep up-to-date with route market trends and related impact upon their customers and effectively share such market intelligence with related parties.

• French Speaking is a must and good understanding of european culture.
