Job Duties:

• Develop web app interfaces
• Integrate with back-end API
• Front-end HTML/CSS coding
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Upgrade and repair existing programs
• Coordinate and collaborate with a small team engineers reporting directly to the CTO
• Take ownership and responsibility over a product in daily use

Requirements:

• Must have 3+ years experience in HTML5, CSS3, JS (ES5+).
• Practical use of Typescript / Coffeescript is beneficial.
• Familiar with source control, feature branching and automated deployment using git, and not be afraid of the unix/linux shell.
• Framework experience: Nice to see Angular(1 or 2) or Vue experience.
• React exposure is advantageous (but we are not using it in our stack) - but you should be able to get by with only jQuery and POJS. If you have built your own framework that's a plus.
• On the back end - you will know how to structure efficient SQL queries, understand SQLite (and know how it's different to MySQL).
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and web application development.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills, ability to think laterally.
• Critical eye for design and detail.
