Javascript Developer role will be responsible for improvements to a responsive mobile web application, which is used by tens of thousands of customers throughout the world every day. This mobile web app seamlessly adapts and streams live HD video across iOS and Android platforms. Our client is a multi-national publicly traded gaming company. They run live platforms for Desktop and Mobile which involve real-time streaming video. This role will be one of the first of a larger team, and will be instrumental in setting up tools, processes and documentation for the group in the future.

Technical Skills required: * Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent * Passion towards latest practices in frontend development: * Libraries like React, Redux, recompose, Lodash, RxJS * Modular CSS by using css-modules and post-css * Testing and specifications libraries like Jest, Jasmine, Karma, Sinon, Casper, Phantom * Modular JavaScript and assets with WebPack * Key technologies NodeJS, npm, yarn * Languages like EcmaScript 6, TypeScript * Solid knowledge and experience with HTML5 + CSS3 * Experience with data structures * Experience with AJAX or WebSockets * Experience related to achieving 60FPS, even on low-end mobile devices, GPU acceleration, JS performance tweaks and optimization Soft Skills required: * Conversational in both English and Chinese. * Self-motivation. Able to work remote / unsupervised. High sense of accountability. * Problem-solving skills. Able to understand requirements and constraints from both sides of integration. * Ambition. There will be many opportunities to improve this process and expand the role and team in the coming months. We want somebody who is excited to build a business with us.
