Main duties;

  • Carries out Front Office procedures to provide highest standards of service;
  • Checking in and out of guests and follow the GDPR while registering guests and or visitors;
  • Giving excellent and personalized service to guests according to hotel’s standards;
  • Functions as Front Office Agent incl. Concierge and Receptionist tasks during days and night;
  • Aligns tasks, questions and complaints with other departments;
  • Sells available rooms to walk-ins;
  • Promotes up-selling;
  • Makes and confirms reservations;
  • Provides guest with tourist information about Amsterdam, sights etc.;
  • Conducts payments via cashier system;
  • Is responsible for telephone service;
  • Responding to emails from reservations + hotel
  • Assists in training new team members;
  • Works together with other departments;
  • Completes the daily checklists.


Work Experience
  • Working experience in 4*/5* hotels;
  • Familiar with fire procedures, preferably BHV certificate;
  • Familiar with maintenance of hotel facilities;
  • Knowledge of Opera;
  • Fluent in English and Dutch;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Service and guest oriented;
  • People oriented;
  • Hands on mentality;
  • Able to work well in a team and alone;
  • Flexible and Enthusiastic.
  • Ready to work on weekends and holidays
  • Being able to multitask
  • Keeps workspace clean and organized
  • Ability to remember names and faces in order to make guests feel particularly welcome.
  • Result driven and sales minded
