ibis Edinburgh South Bridge is 259 bedroom, 3* hotel with a restaurant & bar. The hotel is located in the heart of Edinburgh and we welcome an international clientele staying for business and/or leisure purposes.


The Front Office Manager Position Revolves Around


·Ensuring all guests' journeys through the hotel are hassle-free, pleasant and memorable.

·Developing a proactive, guest centric and focused team.

·Achieving the best possible KPIs and financial results for your department.

Snapshot On Responsibilities


Gains guest loyalty via developing good relationships.


Regularly checks the quality of the service provision available.


Anticipates guests' needs and takes them into consideration.


Handles guest complaints and provides a rapid solution.


Organises VIP welcome when necessary.


Carries out recruitment of team.


Trains & coaches team on procedures and standards.


Ensures the brand and/or Group's loyalty programme is promoted to guests.


Ensure that staff has good knowledge of rates, segments and hotel promotions.


Ensures the application of hygiene, safety and environment regulations


Applies and ensures application of the hotel's security regulations (in case of fire etc),


Respects and ensures respect of the hotel's commitments to the "Environment Charter" (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste etc.),


Is responsible for the security of people and property in the area under his/her remit.

Hotel Management: 2 years (preferred)
