Front Office Manager
As Front Office Manager of the iconic 416 room Sofitel Brisbane Central, you would be responsible for leading a team to deliver luxury 5-star accommodation and service excellence.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position is supported by an Assistant Front Office Manager in managing a team of Guest Service Agents in performing reception and Front Office duties, and overseeing the operational activities of the Concierge and Night Audit departments.

Your team and working environment:
The Sofitel Brisbane Central is centrally located within the heart of Brisbane City. The hotel’s 416 elegantly appointed rooms and suites are complemented by the finest personal luxuries to make this one of Brisbane’s best accommodation experiences. The hotel features a number of exquisite and extravagant food and beverage outlets, two fitness centres, a Day Spa and fully flexible event spaces for up to 1100 delegates.
What you will be doing:
- Manage, direct and support the Front Office departments with their daily activities
- Deliver on the Sofitel brand promise in all interactions
- Drive the Accor Live Limitless loyalty program within the hotel
- Maintain operational systems and champion new and innovative ways to do business
- Train, coach and develop the Front Office team
- Be responsible for the operation of the property in the absence of the Director of Operations or General Manager.

Your experience and skills include:
- Previous experience in managing a large operational team
- Detailed knowledge and experience in Rooms operations
- Highly organised with the ability to effectively prioritise
- A strong leader capable of driving a positive team culture to support high performance
- Good communication skills with proven ability to build and maintain relationships
- Extensive working knowledge of OPERA PMS
- Current First Aid & CPR qualification and Approved Manager licence or willingness to obtain
- Availability to work nights and weekends in accordance with operational requirements.
