In collaboration with the General Manager:

·      You monitor Yield Management: occupancy rate management, uses of RM tools, analysis of competitors' positions and drafting of pricing offers.

·      You manage the daily process of the rooms department. This means that you keep an eye on the cash flow of the hotel, the no shows, (group) reservations, invoicing, refunds, …..

·      Your area is one of the first the guest will enter, so keep it neat and guest friendly.

·      You make well-balanced team rota’s.

·      Hotel targets should be met, it’s your job to implement the management’s strategy in your department.

·      You are an exemplary leader, you don’t tell people what should be done, you show them how it’s done. You show your team the way to the extra (s)mile.

·       Good people managers always make the difference and ensure a good atmosphere in their teams. You know how to approach your team members, you listen with both ears and you offer them the respect they all deserve.

·      English, French and Dutch have no secrets for you. Any additional language? Even better!

·      Guest satisfaction is your priority and each of your actions reflects it. You turn complaints into opportunities for the guest and the hotel.
