The Role
We are currently seeking a motivated Front Office Team Leader with proven leadership, negotiation and communication skills. This position is responsible for coordinating Front Office activities, empowering the Front Office team, and ensuring the smooth running of the department. The role suits current guest service agent looking for the the next challenge.
Essential attributes for the role include:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A friendly and outgoing personality
- Excellent grooming and presentation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm
- A willingness to use initiative and solve problems
- Must be able to work weekends & nights
- Proficient in reservations, night audit and all FO procedures
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & time management skills
- Knowledge of Room Master or similar PMS desirable
- Experience in a similar role within a hotel environment
Your role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Greets guests with a smile and make them feel welcome.
- Provide guests with relevant information about the services, local attractions and facilities.
- Train & mentor team in all aspects of the daily operation
- Maintains efficient operating procedures, ensuring accuracy and balancing of till and cash float & security of outlet.
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness and care of all equipment.
- Take extreme care with personal grooming in order to maintain a consistently high level of professional appearance.
- Punctual, efficient, and courteous at all times with guests and fellow Team Members alike.
- Handles all guest complaints immediately, courteously and satisfactorily.
- Aware and adhere to the all Property procedures, including security, fire and the Workplace Health and Safety Act
