Job Description:

Navy FAB is looking for a young and enthusiastic engineer that has a passion for branding business and is eager to develop his career in becoming a Tech Lead. The candidate will be considered as a high-achiever to contribute to the team in developing and designing front-end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications and working alongside graphic designers for web design features. This position is also required to oversee projects/products from conception to final outcome, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you may be responsible for: 

• Developing the front-end architecture & interfaces for online stores and websites; 
• Being crazily responsible for the UI/UX experience
• Implementing the API integrations with different systems to support the front-end functionalities; 
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues of clients;
• Research and propose the technology solution for the clients
• Manage the IT project with vendors if necessary

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree/ High Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent;
• 1-3 years experience in building frontend with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap is necessary; passionate fresh graduates are also welcome to apply;
• Hands-on experience in one of the front-end framework & libraries (e.g., ReactJS, Angular, vue.js) is preferable;
• Hands-on experience in programming projects and knowledge of Git and Github/Bitbucket; 
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL and Firebase;
• Any experience on Shopify and WordPress is a big plus;
• Highly responsible fast learner and result-oriented; 
• Able to work independently to communicate with the client directly and also contribute to the problem-solving part in a team context;
• Strong organizational and project management skills;
• Good verbal language skills in Chinese and English.

Expected Commencement Date/Period: As early as 1 April 2020. The candidate is expected to work 9:30-6:30 pm, 5 days a week.
