ABOUT THE JOB
- To take accountability and overall responsibility for securing fulfillment in an end to end perspective by enabling the pre-requisites for excellent quality in execution: • The design of the multichannel network for the market • The establishment of new fulfillment units • Development of the existing fulfillment units • Implementation of various improvement projects • Efficiency and continuous improvement • Leading and developing people
WHY WE WILL LOVE YOU
- You have experience of working as a management team member with proven ability to make a difference by positively influencing the business directly as well as through good collaboration
- You are experienced in securing the implementation of mid-term and long-term strategies and plans and set/follow up goals
- You are able to have a high level of influence in a matrix organization
- You have solid project management experience on country/market/nation level
- You are a Degree (or above) holder in Economics/Logistics/Supply Chain Management or proven performance in logistics/commercial/supply chain management
- You have 4-6 years working experience in a management position (preferable in distribution, retail, logistics or similar)
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Contribute to the development of tools, processes and ways of working in co-creation with the groups function and take accountability for the market implementation of globally developed of tools, processes and ways of working to enable the design, establishment and continuous development of an efficient, effective and end to end multichannel distribution network on the market
- Accountable for defining the Fulfillment Development Roadmap on the market in tune with the evolving market benchmarks to enable IKEA results and succeed in a multichannel environment
- Accountable for organising communication and reporting of progress towards all relevant stakeholders through all stages of the multichannel network and development project(s) and taking needed actions to secure the readiness
- Accountable for preparing the investment request connected to Customer Fulfillment investments and the investment budget on the market level including securing all required support to market counterparts
- Accountable for providing business cases and enabling the implementation of development and innovation solutions
- Accountable for the testing of new technical/automated solutions in the fulfillment units and service fulfillment
- Accountable for keeping the total picture of fulfillment development and multichannel network together and synchronised on the market including capturing ideas from within the company
- Accountable for securing development and innovation of fulfillment units and service fulfillment through identifying, evaluating and scaling best practices within IKEA and through setting the right priorities based on input from market and group level, industry intelligence and benchmarking
