You will be joining our well established digital team in Hong Kong, and reporting to the Technology Director.

What exactly is the role?

• Develop the framework and foundation for long-term, forward-looking web, mobile and backend applications
• Collaborate with other developers, designers and project managers to create the most compelling and successful experience possible
• Suggest innovative features and ideas for across a diverse range of applications
• Stay abreast of the evolving technology landscape including the emergence of new standards, protocols and devices
• Have strong ability to problem-solve and work in collaboration with a cross-functional team
• Be an all-around positive addition to our company culture

What skills are necessary?

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related experience.
• 3-6 years of development experience using web technologies.
• Extraordinary software engineering talent.
• Passion for staying on the bleeding edge of platforms, methodologies and web trends.
• Desire to learn and always improve yourself and the team around you.
• Expertise in both client and server side scripting, including good knowledge of Javascript (ES6), Node.js, and React.js.
• Strong front-end UI development skills, including CSS3 and HTML5.
• Experience with various CMS systems and concepts.
• Familiar with continuous integration, functional/unit testing and deployment automation concepts.
• A personal portfolio of work, beyond what you've done on the job (show us your personal Github repo or contributions to other projects!).

Good to have

• React Native or mobile app development.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Working knowledge of Docker.
• Experience working with SVG and graphing frameworks.
• Experience or interest developing AR/VR/Interactive applications.
• Experience with CMS platforms like Sitecore or Umbraco
