As part of our development team responsible for supporting Siemens simulation applications in their Cloud transformation, you will onboard the highly strategic and innovative journey to the Cloud the company engaged. You will contribute to the creation of a platform, a cornerstone to allow the applications to be developed and deployed with the easiest, most flexible, way and in the shortest possible time. You will work in an international context with teams spread across several regions: America, EMEA, APAC. In the first step you will engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers developing ideas and designing the future User Experience of our simulation applications. It includes research on innovative frontend technologies and dissemination of the standard processes and tools to the application development teams. In a second step, and daily, you will participate in the creation of an internal software framework to provide the foundations for developing web software applications and to turn complex User Experience of legacy applications into intuitive solutions. Your qualifications We would love to hear from you as a talented engineer graduated, or if you have a master’s degree in computer science, with proven experience researching, designing, and implementing modern web and mobile applications. You join us with an understanding on how to design Web applications that customers will love, using UI and UX best practices. You have strong programming skills with frontend, backend software development with frameworks and languages such as React, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and more generally database management, Sql, NoSql. Ideally, you are interested, sensitive or knowledgeable in CI/CD practices, Containers (Docker) and Container orchestration platform like Kubernetes. You can contribute to a team discussion in an international context, listen to other perspectives disagree constructively, help to reach a consensus, and commit to the team’s decision.
