About the Venture

We are excited to launch a new stealth venture - a thriving community and marketplace where industries, technologies and professional services come together to innovate in new ways. This venture helps organisations leverage the proven solutions of others to solve their own business problems, reducing duplicate effort and inspiring new approaches to innovation. 

Our platform hosts a variety of proprietary solutions and curated content from leading industry players, startups, vendors and universities. We aim to inspire and foster collaboration between a community of innovators both online through our platform, and offline through events and relationships.

This venture is being built by BCG Digital Ventures (“BCGDV”) and is backed by leading industrial players across the world. The business is due to launch in early 2020, and will be based in London, UK with some international travel. 

What will the role involve?

We are looking for a passionate and talented Engineer to join and support the founding team. You will report directly to the <CTO | HOE> and will be working closely with the product and design teams to shape the future vision, architecture and features of an innovate platform.

As A Full Stack Engineer You Will

• Execute engineering strategy and product delivery from launch to scale
• Working together with the CTO, team of engineers, designers and product managers
• Build the systems required for testing, trials, commercial launch, and beyond
• Constantly evaluate technological advancements and innovative solutions to drive continuous product improvement
• Gain and share insights with other leadership team members to continue improving the product and the business

Desired Expertise & Experience

• Startup experience in key engineering positions
• An entrepreneurial spirit that is flexible, experimental, and resourceful
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with some of the following is a plus: Building online marketplaces, blockchain technologies, recommendations engines
• One of your core beliefs, is that “perfect is the enemy of good”
