The Validation & Execution team is seeking a Software Developer that contributes to development and support. Our tools are in demand, directly impacting Enterprise Business units and their products. As an application developer, you will have the opportunity to apply problem solving skills and be part of the complete Software Development Lifecycle. Within the Validation & Execution team, our team focuses on end-to-end development, providing back-end and front-end solutions.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Plans, designs, develops, and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud based or internet related tools.
• Analyzes requirements, tests and integrates application components.
• Ensure the system improvements are successfully implemented.
• Drives unit test automation; should be well versed in the latest development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, DevOps and test-driven development.
• Enables solutions that consider APIs, security, scalability, manageability, usability, and other critical factors that contribute to complete solutions.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related OR equivalent experience (4 years) in addition to:
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience with skills:
  • Angular 8+.
  • Web development experience using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular Material, or RxJS etc.
  • Development in relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL) and TSQL (Transactional SQL).

• Advanced level of English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• JavaScript, Node JS or Typescript.
• MVC framework/models or Single Page Application models. 
• Version control with Git, Gitlab, Github etc.
• Agile methodology (SCRUM) experience, (SAFe would be ideal).
• Java Spring/SpringBoot framework experience.
• CI/CD.
• Containers/Dockers/Cloud Foundry.
• Unit Testing or Integration Testing or Automated Testing.
• Version control with Git, Gitlab, Github etc.
• Building globally distributed scalable solutions.
• Load balancing + Horizonal scaling.

Inside this Business Group

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
