Who are you?

We are looking for highly motivated and talented software engineers who have experience in front end and/or back end development or potentials in full stack development. As a valued member of the team, you will learn the advanced technology in web application development, big data, and client-side applications for brand commercial requirement. 

What will you do?

You will be a part of a global cross functional agile product team of amazing professionals, working with a range of end-to-end solutions from custom built to COTS solutions, focusing on front end/backend/full stack development. You will play a leading role in technical development and architecture - helping the team with software quality and take personal ownership of the product you ship. Actively seeking ways to shift its design into a cloud enabling microservices architecture. Establishing a holistic view of how the solution adds value to the business.

As a Full Stack Software engineer at H&M Group, you will have a specialist focus with hands on coding experience. Some of your responsibilities includes:  

• Design, develop and support product-based solutions
• Translate strategies and requirements into modern and scalable solution designs and architecture
• Actively seeking ways to shift architectural designs into a cloud enabling microservices architecture
• Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative designs
• Seek opportunities to automate, document and improve processes
• Collaborate with other engineers, business experts, product owners and vendors to develop innovative solutions that meet needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability while meeting realistic implementation schedules and adhering to development goals and principles.
• Estimate engineering efforts, plan implementations, and rollout system changes.
• Understand the broader business context around their area and provide intelligent solution.

Your skills and abilities?

We believe you have the ability to apply leading software development practices and present alternative solutions and multiple technical choices. To do this, we think you have a curious mindset, excellent communication skills as well as:  

• 5+ years’ work experience in software development area with at least 3+ years’ experience in PHP programming (or other modern programming language) MySQL and web development. 
• (not often used)Strong experience in system architecture & software design patterns
• Strong experience of designing and developing APIs, microservices, and system integration architecture
• Experience in Cloud (Preferably Alicloud/Tencent Cloud/Azure), CI/CD, containerization and test automation
• Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills, good at triaging and resolving critical tech issues without supervision. 
• Expertise required in object-oriented design methodology and application development in PHP frameworks, including CodeIgniter, Yii, Laravel  etc. 
• Expertise required in large scale web application development and skills in Html5, Jquery.
• Skills in Mini-program, Vue, React or Angular will be a big plus. 
• Excellent English and Mandarin Chinese and communication skills.
• Must be avaliable to work in Shanghai location
