Bentley Systems is seeking candidates for a Full Stack Web Developer as part of a growing team within our ProjectWise division to implement and maintain a suite of web-based applications for design collaboration products impacting thousands of users around the world. The candidates should have experience in web development from client-side to backend and be able to work with a variety of APIs. Candidates should have some experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure.

 

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

 

Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain a variety of interrelated applications using web technologies
• Utilize cloud technologies for serving, authenticating, monitoring, and scaling purposes
• Monitor application and system capacity and performance
• Work with team members to ensure security best practices are followed
• Automation of existing and new processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and stability

 

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in software development with an emphasis on full stack web application development
• Knowledge of modern web development technologies (Javascript/Typescript, CSS, npm, etc.)
• Modern client-side frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills with proven ability to present technical information

 

Desired Skills

• Experience with public clouds (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
• Experience with backend Javascript (Nodejs, Electron) and C++
• Experience designing APIs
• Knowledge of agile and scrum practices
