Pay for this position will be $14.75/hr

 

Job Purpose/Overview
The primary purpose of this position is to support cash handling, reconciling funds, POS
troubleshooting, tracking, and reporting various information. Store Administrator are
also required to provide exceptional guest service while filling in for Guest Experience
Associates on the retail floor they will be required to follow all aspects Guest Experience
Program. In addition, they will help answer and resolve all customer complaints.

• Become knowledgeable of the M&M’s Brand and the store products designed to
delight our guests.
• Display a “Guest comes first” attitude by prioritizing Guest Experience.
• Acts as a positive role model for others by demonstrating passion and enthusiasm.
CUSTOMER FOCUS:
• Display the Guest Experience Program training standards daily and consistently to
provide exceptional guest service and enthusiastically create an unforgettable
experience through personal interactions with our guests.
• Serve as liaison between customer support team, management and customer to
improve customer service and business productivity.
• Analyze customer complaints and provide appropriate corrective actions.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR BUSINESS RESULTS:
• Contributes to and is knowledgeable of store KPI’s
• Actively works towards accuracy in all cash handling processes.
FRIENDSHIP and COLLABORATION:
• Works alongside the management team to create and maintain cash room and Key Performance Indicator reports
• Complete all required paperwork related to cash room duties
• Supportive of management decisions by preventing triangulation and encouraging direct conversations.
PUNCTUALITY and INTEGRITY:
• Comply with all store policies, including the attendance policy, cash handling policy and data handling policies.
• Exemplify The Five Principles and The Associate Concept
• Trains new associates as it relates to cash handling guidelines.
INITIATIVE and JUDGEMENT:
• Responsible for all aspects of cash handling, i.e., balancing the safe, change orders, reconciling tills, vendor payouts, deposits, reporting and preparing till funds.
• Troubleshoot, advise and follow up with technical support in the resolution of POS system issues.
• Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to cash handling.
Other duties as assigned by the management team

 

Context and Scope 

The Store Administrator supports the management team in the execution of daily business administrative duties that drive business performance. General tasks include cash handling, paperwork, tracking sales trends, helping Guests, and carrying out other directives given by the Operations Leadership team.

 

Job Specifications/Qualifications 

 

Education & Professional Qualifications
• 2 years’ experience in cash handling

 

Knowledge / Experience
• Previous cash room experience preferred
• Excellent math and reasoning skills
• Experience with guest service-oriented environment
