Full-time/Part-time Senior Research Assistant in the Faculty of Education (Ref: 495560) (to commence on September 1, 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter until August 31, 2020, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above, and at least 1 year’s post-qualification work experience in education research. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

The appointee will work for a QEF project on supporting the learning and teaching of mathematics for non-Chinese speaking students in primary schools. He/She will support the project team to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the project, including writing and designing the learning and teaching materials, designing and managing the online platform for the project schools, onsite video-shooting of selected lessons, editing video-clips, preparing the transcripts of selected segments of the lessons or interviews with students/teachers, collecting and analysing data on various components of the project, and supporting the Project Manager at different stages of data analysis and evaluation.
