What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will lead Amgen’s drug product technologies lab operations and compliance lead for cellular sciences. You will be accountable for serving every patient every time by redefining drug product processes into reliable and efficient manufacturing operations using advanced scientific and engineering principles. Specifically, the successful candidate will:

• Project manage various business or operations related initiatives.

• Define, track and monitor key business indicators and report monthly status to senior leadership

• Budget development, management, tracking and PO/invoice resolution

• Track monthly headcount input and output of the DPT organization and sites

• Project portfolio and resource allocation/capacity

• Provide regular reports and presentations that clearly summarize analytical business data results and implications/recommendations to key collaborators to inform decision making

• Work with internal and external partners to develop and implement mitigation plans, when needed, to reach department goals and critical achievements

• Turn unstructured business issues/requests into appropriate action plans and projects that result in high quality, meaningful and concrete deliverables

• Deploy ‘best in class’ project management on departmental initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

Masters Degree

Or

Bachelors Degree and 2 years of Data Analysis OR Business Development experience

Or

Associates degree and 6 years of Data Analysis OR Business Development experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Data Analysis OR Business Development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication as well as documentation practices

• Experience doing lab work or in maintaining advanced scientific instrumentation

• Proven ability in successful project management

• Previous experience in lab operations or in managing a lab in any other capacity
