As the Funding Specialist - Tier 1, you will be responsible for supporting application processing and contract implementation risk by ensuring compliance with federal and state lending guidelines and by adhering to BMW Group Financial Services policies and procedures.

In this position, you will receive, sort and distribute all newly received customer contracts for the New Business department, review contracts and supporting documents to ensure that submissions are in the appropriate status for processing, and log and distribute all contracts received to ensure proper tracking and control. You will verify and validate all contract terms ensuring consistency in data quality and accuracy across all submitted documents and application processing systems, as well as confirm all necessary signatures have been obtained. You will also ensure that federal, state and internal compliance standards are met.

In addition, you will determine if the contract is ready to be booked or if it needs to be placed on hold. You will complete the booking process if no discrepancies exist, but if discrepancies are identified, you will determine if the contract can be funded with modifications including dealer settlement adjustment, modification letter or internal adjustment. You will book the contract if within policy and procedure tolerance or place others on hold and begin follow up.

6-12 Months Financial Services experience
6-12 Months Automotive Industry experience
