As a Payroll Analyst you will help Intel with the following, but not limited to:
Prepare reports for employee's compensation and benefits related items and statutory reports for example: Social Security, Income Tax, employee withholdings, etc.
Perform Balance Sheet Account reconciliations, investigation and cleanup of reconciliation items in close partnership with Finance Department and Payroll Operations.
Team up with local and worldwide business partners to resolve issues.
Lead/participate in process improvements and global projects.
Manage payments to payroll suppliers and different institutions.
Provide support for all financial and tax external and internal audits.
Financial and Accounting Analysis: Able to troubleshoot data accuracy. Understands and utilizes materiality. Can shape the data. Can combine multiple sources of data. Can investigate differences in data and determine the root causes.
Risk and controls management: Applies controls to mitigate risks. Understands control concepts (manual and automated) and application to business objectives and to job scope. Identifies control gaps in areas of ownership and can root cause and recommend actions.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
2+ years of accounting experience
Advanced English level
Advanced Excel knowledge
Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
