About the role:

The purpose of Billing Administrator is to ensure the smooth operation of the Service business, by ensuring accuracy and timely processing of invoices and cost assignment to customer contracts where appropriate. This role is focused on recognizing revenue and billing, and works collaboratively with the wider organization to ensure we provide exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities for Billing Administrator:

• Work within the customer services organization

• Issues time & material and contract invoices

• Check and process exception handling for customer cases and debit memos to ensure completion within SLA

• Liaise with Service Delivery Team to meet the requirements of our customers

• Work closely with the Contracts Team to ensure correct cost allocation

• Route overdue cases and debit memos to the correct department for follow up

• Resolve Incomplete Cases by correcting errors within work orders to ensure integration with financial processes

• Improve internal processes to reduce defects, speed up debit memo closure and make successes visible

• Resolve invoice disputes

• Create credit notes where needed and any necessary re-billing to ensure payment disputes are actioned timely

Key performance indicators:

• Debit memo closure

• Open invoice disputes

• Open time & material and contract invoices and billing

• Incomplete cases

• Work in progress / Goods in Transit (costs of all open cases)

• Customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or the equivalent

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Billing and Invoicing

• Experience in Billing and Invoicing Analysis

• SAP Skills Required

• High Level Knowledge in Excel and other Microsoft Products

• Process and Project Management Experience
