- Our customers and partners are wholesalers, installation companies, electrical and lighting planners and architects etc
- HK office : sourcing & procurement office
- Main items : lighting products & systems including both indoor & outdoor lighting
- Main market : Europe & worldwide
- We are looking for German Speaking Product Creation Manager – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Report to German Director
- Work closely with Product Management Team in German HQ
- Translate commercial requirements to feasible technical execution, cost and time targets for achieving development plan
- Execute product development from concept to launch
- Work with local sourcing team, suppliers and product management team in German HQ
- Regular visits to suppliers especially in the Mainland China
- React quickly to market needs and speed up time-to-market
- Trend-scouting at exhibitions and fairs
- Develop product concepts and roadmaps to compete within the industry and suggest those pro-actively to the Product Management Team in Germany
- A degree holder either in Electrical Engineering or Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years' experience in product or project management within electronics industry best with commercial lighting industry
- Hands-on product management experience
- Willing to take up challenges and have innovative ideas
- Flexibility to travel regularly to suppliers' location in China
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & German, preferred a native German speaker
- Experience working with sourcing and product management teams to define, scope and prioritize products requirements
- 5 days work
- 13 months salary
- Annual leave : 15 days
