As a Workforce Development Coordinator at Micron Technology within the Global Facilities Department, you are responsible for working with leaders at various levels and individual Team Members to ensure effective program implementation, compliance, and efficiency.
In this role you will be assigned a primary program, system, application, or project focus along with additional responsibilities that may include program, system, application, or project duties.
Responsibilities:
Provide Training, Development, and Education Solutions
- Identify Stakeholders and manage expectations
- Collect and document stakeholder requirements
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts
- Communicate program expectations to team members and stakeholders
- Coach, mentor, motivate, supervise, and provide recognition to program team members
- Maintain program support through interaction with senior leaders
- Promote Program Management value and business practices to the organization
- Identify problems, opportunities, and potential solutions
- Perform needs analysis on requests or business opportunities
- Design solution to meet needs
- Develop solutions to meet design requirements
- Implement solutions
- Evaluate solution effectiveness and make appropriate adjustments
- Provide Instruction, facilitation, or presentations
- Determine types of eLearning and develop online training solutions
- Benchmark to determine best-in-class technologies and methodologies
Enable Performance Management
- Advise team members regarding career paths, development, and education options
- Perform job and skills analysis to define role requirements in support of leadership
- Assist with development gap identification and recommended solutions
- Forecast future development needs to meet business strategies
Manage or Support Team Member Development Programs
- Assist with the development and maintenance of sponsored Workforce Development programs
- Facilitate and participate in deployment meetings
- Coordinate or support change management
- Assist leaders in preparing organization for change
- Create or support implementation and communication plans
- Develop, coordinate, or provide program training
- Maintain regular communication with company leadership regarding program activities
- Provide feedback to corporate strategy teams
- Identify and provide visibility to critical metrics
- Promote the integration of programs into company processes
Manage Documentation Process
- Evaluates area documentation needs and identifies solutions including workflow processes, writer support, training integration
- Acts as resource for documentation-related ISO compliance issues
- Defines new documentation infrastructures to meet customer needs
- Develops documentation through all stages of the writing process
- Applies global documentation principles
- Conducts evaluations of audience, purpose, and format
- Adhere to current technical writing principles, the Micron style guide, and various technical communication and web development style guides
- Provides writing support to other writers specifically proofreading for grammar and mechanics and verifying language and style consistency among writers
- Creates flowcharts and process diagrams
- Use standard English grammar, mechanics, and composition
- Facilitates periodic document reviews
- Demonstrates knowledge of all of writing teams processes and procedures
- Maintains approval routes and notifications
- Provides metrics and data to assigned area regarding PDR performance
