Position Purpose

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

·    Develop and maintain assigned projects in C# and MS SQL according to business specification and programming standards.

·    Provide architecture design for the assigned projects to cover development, testing, & deployment.

·     Participate in execution of integration & user acceptance testing

·    Coordinate w/ Project Manager to communicate status and report issues to the Business & IT management.

·    Regular interaction with onshore team members/leads to build knowledge base in Mumbai.

  

 

Contributing Responsibilities

  

·    Onboarding and training for newly joined team members. Making sure new team members are geared up with required knowledge which is essential for development and L3 support.

·    Shall adapt to changes and flexible on working on multiple tasks.

·    Effective time management and able to prioritize assigned tasks.

·   Lead should also work on constantly increasing the productivity of the team and reducing the waste on the other end.

·   To ensure that Team is working as per the listed procedures, provide regular constructive feedback and motivate team. A Lead who is looked upon by all the members.

·   Working on identifying the project risk and planning mitigation action with the PM at project level.  

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

·       9 plus years of experience in software development and system architecture with Microsoft technologies.

·     Expert knowledge of C# and .Net Framework (4.0 and above)

·     Thorough knowledge of design patterns, principals and its implementation

·       Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2016

·       Working knowledge of Database design and SQL development is required.

·       Strong Threading Concepts.

·       Working knowledge of WCF, WPF (or Silverlitght) and SOA.

·       Some exposure to Capital Markets or the broader financial industry is a plus.

·       Working Knowledge of SQL Server Change Data Capture (CDC), Query Notifications (QN) and triggers is a plus.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in creating technical documentation.

·       Ability to work independently with Business Users/PMO; defining development requirements, managing technical aspects of User Acceptance Testing.

Nice to have technical Skills
