What you will do
As part of the national Primary Care Bone team, your core focus will be to maximise sales of Amgen's products across the Brisbane North territory and associated country area of Hervey Bay and Maryborough. Your key customers include General Practitioners and related healthcare professionals. The position reports to the QLD District Sales Manager and is a 12-month contract role.
We’re looking for a team-player focused on developing each account to its fullest potential. You will be joining an established, experienced and innovative team with a clear track record of customer value creation and success. COVID has seen our ways of working evolve to not only face to face interaction with Healthcare professionals, but also connecting virtually. Patient centricity is our driver, so we’re looking for you to think outside the box, be open to different ways of working and be very comfortable with technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with manager to develop and implement territory plan and key account plans
Evaluate progress vs. plan monthly and agree course of action
Engage with peers and Manager to learn best practices
Report customer activity in CRM system and ensure customer profiles are kept up to date
Operate within the agreed expense budget aligned with product priorities
Continuously develop and improve product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The experienced GP/Primary Care Sales Representative we seek is a collaborative, communicative, tech-savvy and innovative individual with these attributes/qualifications:
Degree in life science, (bio) medical sciences or business and relevant therapeutic knowledge well regarded
Field Sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry selling to General Practitioners and healthcare professionals is essential
Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication
Completion of Medicines Australia certification
Valid driver's licence, residency and Work rights in Australia mandatory
