Intel desires entry into market segments served by high performance discrete graphics. Participation in market segments served by discrete graphics requires the delivery of reference platforms to downstream customers with sufficient confidence in the design to ramp this design or very close derivative into high volume production quickly. Intel is building this capability and now seeks to create a discrete graphics Platform System Engineering team in Taiwan for datacenter.
The GPE organization is headquartered in Folsom, CA with significant development teams in Toronto, Austin, Santa Clara, and Bangalore India.
The GPE System Engineering team is looking for talented Signal Integrity and Power Integrity engineers to join our team developing leading edge discrete GPU system solutions for the desktop, mobile and server market.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Working with teams and engaging with Silicon designers, platform designers, package designers, and external customer support teams, etc.
- Doing electrical modeling for package, board, connector, etc., and performing signal integrity simulation for PCIe, Display, Memory, DDR
- Developing package and platform routing guidelines.
- Defining and evaluating circuit design features required to support performance requirements.
- Creating signal integrity measurement and test plans and review of measurement results.
- Correlating measurements to simulations, and modifying models as required
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum skills and experience:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related fields with 5+ years of professional experience in a semiconductor industry, in a research and development environment. Or a Master's in the same fields with 2+ years of professional experience in a semiconductor industry, in a research and development environment.
Experience in the following:
- Experience with Signal or Power integrity analysis
- Experience with highspeed I/O interfaces (over 10Gbps)
Preferred skills and experience:
