The Open Source Graphics Center is responsible for developing Linux drivers and technology for Intel's Graphics and Compute products. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Use your technical skills to dive deep into Intel's Linux GPU SW stack, contributing toward the release of industry leading features for Intel's integrated and discrete graphics and compute products.
- Work directly with open source communities and across business units within Intel.
- Perform design, development, validation, documentation, and power and performance analysis.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:
- A completed Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 3+ years' industry experience working in large scale software product development teams and projects
OR
- A completed Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical or Electronics Engineering
With the following skills and/or knowledge:
- C, C++ programming Skills
- Experience developing system software for Linux OS
- Hands-on knowledge in the software engineering development lifecycle process
- Debugging and system integration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Linux Operating system architecture and device driver model
- Familiarity with Linux kernel open source contributions and practices
- Experience with Linux power management flows and or power saving hardware technologies
Familiarity with Linux DRM subsystem and graphics and compute SW stack

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
