Job Description

Our Oregon based team is responsible for improving the performance of Intel's 3D graphics on Windows platforms. We investigate 3D game and application functionality and performance to identify driver improvements. We own improving 3D performance for future platforms, soon to be released platforms, and already shipping platforms. When focused on performance for future platforms we work closely with 3D architecture to evaluate feature options and develop driver improvements. When bringing up a new platform we investigate configuration options, run experiments to confirm results, and collaborate with others to bring products to release meeting performance targets. When focused on performance for already shipping platforms we collaborate with our solutions group in assisting game studios and application developers in efficient use of Intel graphics.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Candidate must have a MS in Computer Science or related field. Completed a 3D graphics course Completed a course in either Computer Organization, Computer Architecture, or Computer Hardware and Operation Systems Experience with 3D graphical programming demonstrated thru class-work, work-experience, or personal projects where you either: Implemented 3D rendering algorithms with DirectX, OpenGL, Metal, Vulkan; or Implemented physically based rendering techniques such as Ray Tracing

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$97,500.00-$146,340.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
