Job Description

Intel's Graphics Software Engineering group is looking for a graphics software developer with driver Validation expertise that will enhance Intel's Graphics driver quality and mainly focus on pre-silicon issue validation and debug, which may include all Graphics components, e.g., 3D, compute, media, display, kernel mode driver, etc. The candidate will work with various partners and groups world-wide to root-cause issues in the correct component by using different debugging tools, analyzing fail logs. Issues may be even outside Graphics and can be in other modules. It may involve debugging tool development to help on efficiency improvement.


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with 6-10 years of industry experience in debug , product development and/or validation. -OR- Master's Degree with 5-7 years of industry experience in those function area above.Additional qualifications:- Strong background and experience in C and C++, perl, pathon- Solid understanding and experience in developing tools with at least one function area, like KMD, display, D3D, Media.- In-depth of knowledge in the areas of graphics driver and WDK basis.- Strong oral and written communication skills and clarity in technical communications.- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead technical projects.Preferred:- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.- Experience validation and debug graphics device drivers and serving at hardware/software function team like KMD, Display, D3D, Media.- Experience developing production software in a Scrum/Kanban Team with multi-geo and cross-cultural communication experience.- Knowledge of Windows operating system and experience in developing graphic driver with a strong debug capability on addressing various graphics issues.- Experience in 3D Gaming Industry is an added advantage.- Experience on AMD/Intel/NVidia driver programming dev/val knowledge is a plus.
