Job Description
Eaton’s Aerospace division is currently seeking an GTM Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Tijuana facility. The GTM Analyst is responsible for ensure the temporary inventory for TJ Aerospace plant, meets with all Mexican Customs regulations with an import/export operation of $130M USD and 500 customs transactions performed a year. There are customs requirements, that this position needs to ensure in order to maintain the current certifications and government programs such as IMMEX, PROSEC, OEA programs and VAT certification among others. This position is also responsible for maintaining and updating compliance documents to reflect current regulatory requirements and procedures. GTM Analyst is responsible for engagement delivery, customs compliance, quality, productivity and report management, and exception management; as well as reporting metrics or KPIs of their operation in charge. Some activities related with the position will be: Ensure for the temporary inventory management of MX sites in charge. Ensure the data integrity of Trade Compliance processes. Ensure the full compliance with New Customs Regulations, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Classifications Skills USA/ Mexico, ITAR regulations, military license agreement, Free trade agreements, etc. Monitor the import/export of raw materials, finished goods, equipment, scrap, non-productive material, excess and obsolete (E&O) operation on a monthly basis. Perform audits to the annex 24 (Interfaces, Operation’s Report, I/E Modules, BOM’s, Product Values & Costs, Country of Origin, NAFTA Certificates or Manufacturer Affidavit, Duty Payments, Eight Rule, Prosec’s) and maintain this info updated in the system. Inventory Reconciliation performance between Annex 24 and ERP (MFG Pro, QAD, ENOVIA), including: cycle counts, receiving discrepancies, Inventory adjustments, company losses, Perpetual Inventories, company Sales. Achieve metrics and goals related to Trade Compliance. Responsible for maintaining the electronic or hard copy records for the Customs Operations performed in Mexico such as Pediments, HTS catalogs, reports of Annex 31, Annex 24, Annex 22 Collaborate with the Trade Compliance Lead to attend customs audits and any other requirements from SAT. Collaborate with the Trade Compliance Lead to attend internal customs audits from Eaton Internal Audit team or Peer Reviews Audits. Ensure BSC completion. Inventory reconciliation of Fixed Assets vs Import Records (Open Balance). Ability to work with SCM and the other departments to get the necessary information of Raw Materials, Identify New products and BOM’s as well as with other departments that need support from the Trade Compliance team. Execute all applicable Mexico import/export compliance processes and procedures in conjunction with various Trade Compliance functions within Eaton and external resources; to enhance the import and export operation. Provide accurate information to GTM VAT team related to the VAT certification including: Monthly reports Temporary inventory conciliations a month Assistance to fix deviations on the temporary inventory Ensure that the site is in compliance with reporting management, including among others: Stay up to date with the Law and other customs regulations applicable to import and export trade operations. #LI-MM3 Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Possesses Effective Communication Skills Demonstrates a Collaborative Style Drives for Results Makes Decisions/Solves Problems Promotes and Champions Change Pursues Personal Development Possesses Interpersonal Savvy (Supplier/Customer Relationships) Preferred Qualifications: Strong ethics and professional presence required Negotiation skills and experience with suppliers.
