Job Summary The major roles of the GTM CoE FTA Analyst are to maintain and update compliance documents to reflect current regulatory requirements and procedures. The GTM CoE FTA Analyst reports to the GTM CoE FTA Team Leader. The GTM CoE FTA Analyst is responsible for engagement delivery, customs compliance and quality, of Within the responsibility of project delivery, the GTM Analyst performs free-trade agreement (FTA) analysis (e.g., USMCA, MX-Colombia, EU-MX, KORUS,US-ISRAEL), and post-entry activities as needed.. Job Responsibilities Execute FTA solicitation and qualification for different FTA, ensuring all necessary documentation is retained to ensure full compliance; Ability to fully explain the rules of the FTA to internal customers, detailing why a particular item qualifies or does not qualify for the FTA. Carry out qualification and Classification projects, to deliver them on time and enhance communication with GTM Managers and businesses to communicate monthly results and KPI’s to avoid any NAFTA/USMCA Claims risk. Prepare all documentation needed to assist with Pre and Post Entry activities such as CF28, CF29, protests, refunds, drawback, Post Sumary Corrections. Identify situations and events where formal communication is necessary; works with others to consider communication approaches; assists in the development of messaging. Maintain safe, clean working environment in compliance with all Eaton safety standards, Life Saving Rules, and daily 5S+ requirements to help build a Zero Incident Culture Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton Philosophy & Values. Ensure all support documentation from preference determination analysis and refund projects according to RK Internal Policies. Create and keep updated standard processes documentation such as HB, WI, STW among others. Leading meetings with different stakeholders as well as demonstrate active participation in internal meetings & trainings. Continuous Improvement promoter and digital mindset. Qualifications Qualifications Education level required: Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred education level: 1-2years In Trade Compliance experience. Technical Knowledge: This experience should include proficiency in FTA Qualification Analysis and classification Skills. Candidates must be able to demonstrate proficiency in US and Mexican customs regulations as well as other government agency regulations. Excellent knowledge of U.S. and Mexican Government Import Regulations. Fluent English. Microsoft Suite skills required. Desirable knowledge in problem solving methodology and CI tools. Desirable domain of SAP-GTS. High understanding on rules of origin interpretation as well as domain on the different qualification methods such as RVC, Tariff Shift, De Minimis, Accumulation, Intermediate goods.
