Job Description
- Maximize our brand by promoting our up sell programs.
- Cross selling internal revenue centres rather than promoting outside the hotel
- Ensures that all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations are followed.
- Ensure the maximum utilization of room keys, with maximum cost efficiency.
- Execute all tasks related to financial activities adhering to the laid down policy and procedures and ensuring accuracy in maintaining the records
- Always updated with the current inventory status.
- Remembers and uses guest names and faces as much as possible
- Always familiar and updated with hotel’s product and services.
- Establishes a rapport with guests and maintains good customer relationship
- Works in full cooperation with other departments to make sure the guest is of the utmost priority.
- Attempt to assist with guest issues prior to escalating to a Supervisor and keep the Supervisor informed when necessary
- Ensures that all Front Office Standards or Service and Operational Procedures are followed, while adhering to Fairmont’s core standards.
- Should always look for ways to consistently exceed guest service expectations (FHR Programs as a measuring tool)
- Energize the brand by promoting our guest recognition program Fairmont President’s club
- Should be aware of Business Centre services and be able to operate equipment as requested by the guest.
- Communicates and gives feedbacks through pre shift briefings, logs and departmental meetings all pertinent information for the areas of operations.
- To take a full and accurate handover from the previous shift ensuring that all necessary follow-up is recorded and resolved.
- To be informed and compliant with all forms of hotel systems and technology, Opera, Internet access, Telephones and able to resolve issues.
