Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Significant experience in a related position, such as a programmer at a gaming company, developer relations engineer, or performance engineer.
Experience with large unfamiliar codebases and the ability to add meaningful data-driven improvements to them.
Ability to solve complex problems independently.
Excellent debugging skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
At least one of the following:
Graphics programming experience, preferably in DirectX 12 or Vulkan.
In-depth knowledge of game tasking systems.
In-depth knowledge of memory subsystems, caches, etc.
Experience with performance profiling and optimization on the GPU and/or CPU.
Experience with commercial game engines such as Unreal.
Nice to have qualifications:
Advanced understanding of modern GPU and/or CPU architectures.
Experience with technical writing and/or giving technical presentations.
Experience in developing engineering competency and mentoring Passion for video games.
Worked at a game studio in the past Understanding the Microsoft Windows architecture and how it can impact performance.
