Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate production of a mid-size game on one or more platforms
- Take responsibility for final quality, planning，timing and budget of production to ensure that such objectives are met.
- Ensure that Game production methods are known and used by all team members.
- Act as the main point of contact for client, and be in charge of tracking the quality of deliverables and providing feedback.
- Manage communication and coordinate game production team with other teams in and out of China.
- Ability to use scrum software development to guarantee the pipeline of the project.
- Ability to manage at least one Assistant Producer (if needed)
Qualifications:
- Good working knowledge of video games and understanding of how games are made.
- Passion for video games and being an avid gamer (preferably western or Japanese brands) is a must.
- Strong knowledge of game production tools and game production pipelines (SCRUM, Hansoft, Confluence, JIRA…).
- Self-motivated and responsible with a proven track record of completing tasks on time and with the desired level of quality.
- Ability to communicate with foreign clients.
- Bachelor degree or above for leading University, with at least 2 years’ experience in project management, including team supervision.
- Good English communication skills (other languages such as Japanese or Korean are big advantage).
- at least 2 years’ experience working as a producer, at least 4 years in game industry
- Understanding of other relevant game development area (art, programming, design…) is a big advantage.
