Position Description: Advanced Planning • To work with marketing team on concept of new product. • Discuss with Marketing about how new technologies to be deployed into new platforms. • To communicate with R&D teams on the feasibility of new product concept that brought up by marketing. • To work with R&D teams and figure out the area to be improved on architecture or feature set in current product line. TPM Related • Understand and manage project scope to deliver within the time / cost restraint. • Develop and execute project schedule, ownership and management of project deliverables. • Development NRE estimation, support cost team to review the project development expense include material expense and preparation. • Host regular interlock meeting with internal and external on project status discussion (Schedule, material preparation…). • Participate engineering/ manufacture/ quality meeting to monitor design related issues, and organize team to resolve critical issues, or mitigation plan of any uncertainties. • Join discussion with marketing/ stakeholders on the urgent request or any critical issues that is gating the shipments. • Coordinate R&D, Marketing PM, manufacture on design changes or EC implementation review which might impact material readiness and project quotation. • NPI status tracking on technical interlock, new design discussion on product features. • Collaborating and communicating between ODM and Lenovo engineers/ validation team to avoid communication gap or misunderstanding. • Performs regular Lessons Learned with the team to ensure project and process improvements are captured from Kick Off to Launch #### Position Requirements: • Technical background (major in EE or Mechanical or Thermal) is preferred. • Industrial experience in Notebook ODM/ System Integration companies in Project management is preferred. • Bachelor degree is must, Master degree is a plus. • Fluent English oral, written and communication skills. • Strong cross-functional collaboration across diverse stakeholders to ensure responsiveness to deliverables and deadlines, alignment with project goal, and drive action. • Familiar with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Project tools • Strong customer focus and business sense on project management.
