Garment Technician

Job Purpose:

To provide all aspects of technical support during sampling process to vendors, ensuring requirements are achieved.

To evaluate the quality and conformity of all samples send to design, and product development departments.

To support product development merchandiser, and vendors for all technical aspects from sample development to bulk production.

?To evaluate development samples at all stages from 1st proto to pre-production against tech pack and/or other relevant requirements.

?To review and comment the technical specification details and resolve any discrepancies with product development department.

?To provide technical supports to vendors including pattern adjustments, CAD, sewing operations and finishing process.

?To work directly with vendors on executing sample to bulk production.

?To establish and maintain vendor sample accuracy and quality KPI reports and communicate to all parties.

?To communicate with vendors on fit comments.

?To uphold the reputation and confidentiality of the company by projecting a professional image at all times and by strictly adhering to the company’s anti-corruption and anti-bribery policies.

?To support corrective action and remediation steps as allocated when necessary.

?To carry out additional duties or special projects that are assigned by the manager.

Competency Profile (Minimum Qualifications):

?Matriculated or degree holder in clothing / textiles related discipline

?8 years or above solid experience in technical role in intimate apparel industry

?Able to communicate with foreign vendors and product development team independently

?With paper pattern knowledge and grading experiences

?With knowledge to operate different types of sewing machines

?Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese

?Good PC skill in Microsoft Office

?Good interpersonal and communication skills

• 协同产品开发部门，制定技术指导意见
• 给供应商提供技术支持，包括样板调整，CAD调整，生产工艺改进意见等
• 从样品到大货，全程对接供应商
• 建立并管理供应商样品KPI报告，并知会其他相关部门
• 与供应商直接沟通版型意见
• 通过始终树立专业形象，严格遵守公司的反腐败和反贿赂政策，维护公司的声誉和保密。
• 必要时协助供应商完成纠正措施和补救措施。
• 经理指定的额外职责或承担其他项目。

工作要求：

• 服装/纺织品相关学科的本科毕业
• 8年以上在成衣技术支持方面的扎实经验
• 能够独立与国外供应商和产品开发团队沟通
• 具有扎实的理论知识基础和实操经验
• 具有操作不同类型缝纫机的知识
• 精通英文和中文书面和口语
• Microsoft Office中的良好PC技能
• 良好的人际关系和沟通技巧
