This exciting role offers opportunity to: Process development and improvement including implementation of new processes and equipment, safety and ergonomic improvements Quality improvement and scrap reduction. Productive management of Capital programs and expenditures Cost reduction: production and tooling costs, set-up reduction Product design feedback. Coordination of manufacturing process development, support and training. Responsible for process design and optimization. Support Financial analysis and justification to capital planning and spending. Direct investigation and research on new process and products. Establish part processing and implement processing of product to ensure the highest quality at the optimum production rate and the most economical cost. Review new part drawings and drawing revisions for proper utilization of machines & tooling /process designs. Approve tool drawings from division, machine suppliers, tool vendors, etc. Direct tool, fixture and part changes to improve product quality. Support the transfer, start-up and development of new technologies or new models. Furnish emergency tooling or alternate methods to support production. Initiate and formalize cost savings at both plant and division levels. Direct new equipment purchases and plant layout to improve production. Direct capital project management activities (negotiation of contracts). Responsible for aim to technical problem, analysis and bring forward solutions to solve the problem Responsible for process change management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree at least in Mechanical Engineering Over 5 years’ experience in Gear manufacturing environment Good systems knowledge, including, computer, quality. APQP, PPAP. General knowledge of tooling design. Excellent spoken and written command of Chinese and English language. Yes!
