Job Description

Title: General Data Annotator for AI Models – US Only – English – Remote, Part Time, Work from Home
Location: Remote working in the following US States: CA, CO, FL, IL, MA, MN, NC, NV, NH, NJ, NY, OR, PA, TX, WA, WI
Work Schedule: Part time, minimum of 20hrs per week (approx. 4 hours per day M-F) for 7-9 weeks (potential option to extend)
Compensation: $21.50 USD per hour
Experience: no prior experience required
Education: undergraduate degree
Start Date: June 19th 2023, or July 3rd 2023

What we are looking for
RWS Group is looking for US-based General Data Annotators to review and score existing AI-generated responses to prompts (questions) in English and provide constructive feedback on the responses. This information will be used to train and improve generative AI and machine learning models. 

 

Typical Tasks

  • Score and improve upon existing prompts (questions) and AI-generated responses across a general range of topics in English

  • Reference online resources, and rephrase and write cohesive, accurate, responsive, and sometimes empathetic answers to the prompts from the perspective of an AI model

  • Testing (QA) other annotators' work

  • Correcting incorrect prompt responses using natural language and examples

  • Evaluate AI model responses to prompts through scoring, ranking, A/B testing, etc.

  • Flag questionable responses that include toxicity, hallucinations, etc.

Job Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in English (US)

  • Located in any of the following US States: CA, CO, FL, IL, MA, MN, NC, NV, NH, NJ, NY, OR, PA, TX, WA, WI

  • Ability to work part time, a minimum of 20hrs per week (approx. 4 hours per day M-F) for a duration of 7-9 weeks (with a possibility of extension of up to 8 months) as a W2, non-exempt employee

  • Undergraduate associate’s or bachelor’s degree

  • Detail oriented with the ability to understand and follow instructions

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Responsible, reliable, and communicative 

  • Up-to-date knowledge on US culture and news is a bonus
