"This position is under Accounting & Financial Reporting Japan.
General Ledger and Closing Senior Accountant plays an important role in managing General Ledger accounting, and performing month end closing procedure. This role is responsible for preparing overall financial statements for MFTBC headquarters. In particular, this role will be the key position in preparing income statement for headquarters, and providing reliable analyses on key numbers in the income statement (i.e. Revenue, Cost of Goods Sold, SG&A expenses, Other income/expenses, EbIT, etc.) to top management and controlling departments. "
■ Your mission
As a process owner of General Leger accounting in cbFC (MFTBC’s new Accounting System), understand complex overall connection of systems and processes, and lead various accounting teams to perform month end closing with high quality in a timely manner. Also define and improve activity plans for closing processes for MFTBC headquarters in cbFC.

■ Your responsibilities
Overall General Ledger accounting and closing transactions but not limited to
1. Process management on General Ledger accounting and seek opportunity to improve the process
2. Manage month-end closing process for MFTBC Corporation headquarters in order to achieve the closing efficiently and timely
3. Define and improve activity plans for closing at MFTBC Corporation under new cbFC accounting system
4. System Owner for SAP cbFC and related interfaces and legacy systems as well as for SAP EC-CS
5. Support for GAAP adjustments
6. Calculate provisions (AR Bad Debt Allowance)
7. Support for Reporting (Financial Statements) for MFTBC Headquarters
8. Fluctuation Analysis and Reconciliation (Actual vs. Actual)
9. Support External Audit process and prepare audit documents
10. Support controlling and management reporting
11. Support other departments as a subject matter expert for J GAAP commercial code
12. Support development of MFTBC Accounting Manual under new cbFC accounting system
13. Deliver necessary data & consultation to other stakeholders in a timely manner
14. Internal Control (ICS) communication with Internal audit correspondence
15. Ad-hoc tasks
